Data we process

Povly may process login account data such as email address, provider account IDs, and avatar URLs; selected language and notification preferences; public problems and advice; reports, blocks, moderation records, and app actions; Google Play purchase history needed to verify Povly Plus subscriptions; and device and integrity signals used to reduce spam and abuse.

For Google Play Data Safety, Povly discloses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics data where used, including app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, device or app instance IDs, app version, Android version, and approximate location derived by Google/Firebase infrastructure from network information. Povly does not request precise GPS, foreground location, or background location permission for the feed.

How we use data

We use data for app functionality, account management, language-based feed routing, subscription entitlement, analytics, diagnostics, crash investigation, fraud prevention, security, compliance, reports, blocks, moderation, and abuse prevention.

Sharing and service providers

Povly uses service providers for authentication, hosting, email delivery, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing, Play Integrity, security, and app operation. These providers process data for Povly. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Signed-in users can request account deletion from the app profile area. The backend DELETE /account flow removes sign-in identifiers, stored credentials, trusted device records, and avatar URLs from the account. Public problems and advice may remain as de-identified user-generated content where needed for moderation, safety, legal obligations, dispute handling, or abuse prevention.
